Having dropped out of university on food and beverage production degree course I did other diploma courses including Sales and marketing, Tourism and Travel operations, Intermediate french language course and finally a diploma in Electronics that secured me a job as a technician, later I became a Dj and a photographer that opened my way to becoming a videographer and that is where the idea about films came along,I was very concerned about films how they are made and how I can join the industry.
With a diploma in Electronics I thought of pursuing a career as a technician in media but upon my application to Oxford Brookes University they didn’t have the course available on the first year so I decided to do a foundation degree in Engineering and later change to Electronics Engineering in my third year.
Unfortunately the course was discontinued and the only option available was in media computing which I took in my third year but it didn’t work for me and I had to take a gap year to try and make up my mind on what I really wanted to do.
I applied through ucas.com to various universities in the country and upon acceptance I decided to go for Middlesex university as having lived in London before, I knew I would easily settle down and mange my life here than any other new place in the country.
I had a family living with me in Oxford, my wife and our 6 year old daughter and it was really hard to convince them them that I wanted to move out to return to university but had no choice and left for London in January 2010.
